Fort Lapin Triple is a Belgian strong ale from Fort Lapin Brewery. Fort Lapin brewery was established in 2011 as a modern Belgian microbrewery dedicated to making high-end Belgian ales. Based just north of Bruges, Fort Lapin brewery is named after the area where the brewery is based.
What makes a beer a Tripel? A tripel is a Belgian beer style brewed with three times the amount of malt than a standard Belgian table beer. As a result, Tripels are high in alcohol, and usually fairly bitter to balance the sweetness from the extra malt. Fort Lapin Triple is a dark yellow beer with a pleasant citrusy, spicy aroma. The brewers add a little bit of wheat malt and coriander, giving this beer a spicy flavour reminiscent of a wheat beer. Buy Fort Lapin Triple for a balanced yet complex beer, brewed by a modern Belgian microbrewery.

Poring a golden colour with a nice white head. Spice and some citrus notes on the nose. The flavour is crisp with spice notes from classic Belgium yeast and a fruity flavour with a dry finish.

A fruity, spiced aroma with with sweet coriander flavours. Nothing fancy but a solid Tripel

Appears hazy peach the head lasts Aromas of floral spices apricot and coriander my tongue detects corn, pepper orange banana it has a wheaten aftertaste. To me it seems unbalanced More of a Wit beer than a tripel, a bit thin in the mouth but slips down well

Lovely tripel, not too strong and quite complex, with fruity and spicy notes aplenty

A tripel worthy of the name. For me, there are 3 or 4 outstanding tripels and this one is not far behind. Wonderful in the glass with a good head, great aromas and very tasty. I will buy again and again

Another Belgian beer I had not had previously, but it was certainly everything I would expect, full of flavour, a good head and worth every penny

Light cloudy gold with small white top. Aroma of bubble gum, pear, flora, malt and spice. Taste is quite herbal and floral, with pear and hint of citrus zest, light spice. Drying medium+ body, slightly cloying, fine carbonation. Its ok.

Another superb beer from this Bruges brewery. Pours with a nice head and has a dry spicy taste to it. Easy drinking and refreshing.
