Fort Lapin Hoplapin is a Belgian IPA style blond ale from Fort Lapin brewery. Based just north of Bruges in Belgium, Fort Lapin is based in a fortress of the same name, originally built to protect the main trading centre of Bruges. Fort Lapin brewery was established in 2011 as a modern Belgian microbrewery dedicated to making traditional Belgian ales.
Fort Lapin Hoplapin is a hybrid between a Belgian blond ale and an IPA. The beer retains much of the character of a Belgian blond ale, with a subtle addition of bitterness from the extra hops. The result is a pleasant, drinkable beer with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Buy Fort Lapin Hoplapin for a Belgian blond ale, with a subtle hoppy bitterness.
