Diôle Blonde is a Belgian blond ale from Brasserie des Carrières. Brasserie des Carrières is a microbrewery in southern Belgium with a passion for local traditions and ingredients, growing many of their own hops on the farm attached to the brewery. The name Diôle comes from a tool used in the local marble industry, a devil’s tail shaped device used for polishing marble.
Diôle Blonde pours a light copper colour, with aromas of citrus and fresh hops rising from the glass. A slight caramel flavour mingles with citrus and a hint of red fruit, for a fruity, refreshing beer. Buy Diôle Blonde for a small-batch, locally brewed Belgian ale.

Good example of a Belgian blonde, fruity and gently honeyed but with a good dry bitterness to follow. Moderately herbal too, with overtones of a decent Saison. Pretty good for a small brewery.
