Adam Randall –
Excellent Saison, crisp but complex. Assertively bitter (reminiscent of their XX Bitter) both on the palate and the long finish. Very full bodied with a bit of balancing sweetness. Has the typical ‘farmhouse’ twang, presumably from a special yeast.

Absolutely delicious stuff – fruity/perfumey/spicy, complex aroma, light and nougat like malt body, peppery phenols and pinprick bitterness perfectly poised in long, yeasty and extremely dry finish that screams out for another swig. 4.5*
