De Dochter van de Korenaar Crime Passionnel is a Belgian wheat IPA from Brouwerij De Dochter van de Korenaar. Brouwerij De Dochter van de Korenaar is a Belgian microbrewery, founded in 2007 by Dutch couple Monique and Ronald Mengerink. Crime Passionnel is brewed with 45% wheat malt, then hopped with the spicy German Saphir hop, for a more intense bitterness than expected for a wheat beer.
Pouring a hazy golden colour, De Dochter van de Korenaar Crime Passionnel offers up juicy apricot and citrus aromas from the Saphir hops. The flavour is smooth and refreshing, with fruity banana and spicy yeast notes, before drawing to a bitter finish. Buy De Dochter van de Korenaar Crime Passionnel to explore the crossroads where a Belgian wheat beer meets an IPA.

Easy drinking wheat beer, fruity flavours with hints of honey.

One of the best beers I’ve ever tasted and I’ve had the pleasure of drinking hundreds, so I don’t say that lightly.
Hints of sweetness, great depth and very smooth.

I don’t have all the words to describe this beer, but it’s a delicious IPA. The perfect beer for a pleasant Friday afternoon. Would go well with a BBQ probably if the weather was nice. I would buy again, really good quality. A smooth taste from start to finish.
