Ardenne Stout is a beer made with Mosaic, Belgian Golding and Hallertau hops. The aroma is dominated with roast and burnt malt and fruits of the forest whilst vinous impressions, wood and roasted malt notes enliven the palate.
Ardenne Stout is aged in oak barrels and thanks to the use of several varieties of malts, the beer develops a rounded character in addition to the hop bitters that also make their presence known.

Warming and tasty. Great depth of flavour.

WOW!! This is a truly delicious stout with a very unique flavour which i couldn’t quite put my finger on. Perhaps it was the different types of hops used or maybe the oak barrels it is aged in but the quality was undeniable. A silky mouthfeel, heavy body, very little fizz and a good depth of flavour; everything i enjoy in a stout.

In my glass near black has a firm beige head, Smells of chocolate smoky coffee slightly vinous at the end. My palate finds cocoa figs macchiato some coconut with a subtle dry hoppiness Maybe the spelt is responsible for its deep rich mouthfeel.
