Ardenne Saison is light and refreshing beer from the Brewery of Bastogne. It is refermented with a Brettanomyces yeast and brewed with Hallertau and Cascade hops.
Ardenne Saison pours a hazy orange with a small, white foam. On the nose, there are aromas of malt, yeast and peach which reverberate in the flavour alongside lemon, floral and spicy notes. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and an oily to aqueous texture, Ardenne Saison has a relatively dry and pleasant finish.

Extraordinary. Orval when it was a feisty teenager.

Not the best example of a Saison, but still has some interesting taste notes, drier than I would expect from a standard Saison and a good level of bitterness and enjoyed the dry finish..

Large foamy white head on an unclear pale amber coloured body.
Floral, herbal & yeast aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy sharp & cloying.
Bitter, herbal, medicinal, vegetal & yeast tastes with a zesty citrus finish.
Nice!
