Vleteren Blond is a blonde craft beer. It is brewed with four varieties of cereal, two varieties of hops and honey. It is a strong, beer brewed according to old tradition and is aged in oak barrels.
Vleteren Blond pours deep golden in colour with a sugar, malt and caramel aroma which is followed with pleasant alcohol, sugar, malt, caramel, oak and vanilla in the flavour.

This is a lovely beer.
It pours a cloudy amber, with a weak head that dissipates rapidly, but don’t let that put you off. The taste is an amazing kaleidoscope of sticky fruits, toffee pudding and caramel with a delightfully smooth, boozy warmth. Surprisingly, it doesn’t taste ‘woody’, despite it being oak-aged.

This is my favourite beer of all time. It has also become a favourite of my family too, sad to say! Strong, sweet and rich, mead on steroids. Congratulations to the producer on a most excellent product.
Mark Charrington –
In my glass it appeared a hazy orange the head vanished quickly.
Aromas of vanilla honey over peaches The tastes included tinned apricots candied fruit. oats with some spice at the end. The cereals and the oak barrels save and transform this beer towards greatness.
Mike Dewar –
Copper coloured and viscous. Strong with a sweet finish.

A fantastic beer by all accounts – robust yet delicate, complex yet smooth. One of my new favourites.
