Romate Moscatel Ambrosia is a sweet sherry from Spanish winery, Sánchez Romate. Founded in 1781 in the Jerez region of southern Spain, Sánchez Romate is still family-owned to this day. In the company’s heydey in the early 20th Century, they were appointed an official supplier of Sherry to the House of Lords in London, and the Vatican.
Bottled at around 15 years of age, Romate Moscatel Ambrosia is best served at around 12-14C to fully appreciate the complexity of flavour.
