Delgado Zuleta La Goya is a dry sherry from Spanish winery, Delgado Zuleta. Based in the Marco de Jerez sherry growing region in southwestern Spain, Delgado Zuleta is the oldest winery in the region, dating back to 1719. Delgado Zuleta La Goya is named after the famous flamenco dancer, Aurora ‘La Goya’ Jauffre, who was a big fan of this sherry.
This style of sherry is known as ‘Manzanilla Pasada’ – a matured version of a dry Manzanilla sherry. Made from a Solera of 10 barrels, the sherry is bottled at around 6-7 years old. A complex, floral bouquet of walnuts, white bread, herbs and chamomile rise from the sherry.
