Awarded “Gold Best in Class” in the Worldwide Gin 40% category at the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2011, Brecon Special Reserve Gin is produced in small batches at the Penderyn Distillery in Brecon Beacons National Park.
Handcrafted from the finest column still spirit and our own copper pot spirit, Brecon Gin is infused with ten botanicals sourced from the four corners of the earth.
We will not add any flavours to our gin. Instead our natural botanicals are added to the still to delicately infuse their flavour. Juniper berries from Macedonia, orange peel from Spain, cassia bark from China, liquorice root from Sri Lanka, cinnamon bark from Madagascar, angelica root from France, ground nutmeg from India, coriander seeds from Russia, lemon peel from Spain and orris root from Italy are used, faithfully following a 100 year old recipe. This is how a natural gin should taste.
Our water is drawn from directly below the distillery and is filtered through 340 million year old rock formations imparting incredible purity and taste.
Our passion to produce spirit of uncompromising quality, unique still and natural ingredients result in one of the rarest gins on earth.
