Kavalan Single Malt Whisky Sherry Oak is a single malt whisky from renowned Taiwanese distillery, Kavalan. Founded in 2005, the distillery is part of the Taiwanese food and beverage giant, King Car Group. The distillery is named after the historical name of the lush green surroundings of northeastern Taiwan where it is based.  Kavalan Single Malt Whisky Sherry Oak uses the same Sherry casks used for the brand’s infamous Solist Sherry Cask-strength whisky, however, this release is diluted to 46% ABV using Kavalan spring water.
