Plantation Guyana is the only rum in the Plantation range to have sugar cane syrup as its raw material. From a long fermentation, then distilled in a Charente alambic pot still and finally aged in bourbon casks all of which results in a fine balanced rum.
The Plantation Guyana has an aroma that has an initial toastiness to it which then moves to giving off hints of dried sage, new leather, dried flowers, sea salt and dark caramel. The taste is intense with flavours of honey, brown sugar which make it sweet, the mid palate turns spicy, tangy and rich in texture. The finish is long with touches of grape/raisin dark chocolate.
