New to the website is a range of beers from Dia de Los Muertas – or Day of the Dead beer.

The beers are the first fully developed and fully accessible craft beers to come out of Mexico. The range officially launched in September 2013 but has been on the market with a soft launch since May 2013.  Brewed at Cerveceria Mexicana, located 100 yards from the US border in Tecate, Mexico, the brewery is best known for its flagship brand, Mexicali.

Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday taking place on 1st and 2nd November and is celebrated throughout Mexico and in other cultures globally. A celebration of life, faces are painted , songs sung to wake the dead and family and friends gather to pray and remember loved ones who have died. Amongst the traditions are visiting the graves with the departed persons favourite food and drink. (Further information about this can be found on Wikipedia).

This craft beer is produced to celebrate those traditions. Care is given to the individual flavours and packaging, which is designed by Sean Younis Wells – pop over to You Tube to view a time lapse video for the artwork of Immortal Beloved.
