Sunday 7th April Jim Briscoe took part on behalf of Beers of Europe, The Warehouse Antiques & Bottles and Cans Magazine ‘Only The Brave 10 Mile Mud Run’ in aid of the Air Ambulance at Elveden Estate, Thetford Forest, Norfolk.
The ‘Only the Brave’ challenge this year had it’s record breaking attendance hosting 1,850 racers who all ran for the charity.

Local Legend Juggling Jim Tribute Beers – Charity Announcement

We recently announced our local charity project in tribute to the recently deceased Anthony Bowen, better known to many as Juggling Jim, an iconic busker in the town centre. Norfolk Brewhouse have kindly brewed and bottled their Moon Gazer Ruby, Amber and Gold ales which will be labelled by ourselves with special commemorative labels in tribute to Anthony.
After much consideration, we have great pleasure in confirming the charity we have to chosen to support. 100 per cent of the profits from the sale of the beers will be going to a King’s Lynn charity, Lavender Hill Mob Theatre Company.
On the 7th April Jim Briscoe running for from Beers of Europe and The Warehouse Antiques & Collectables in aid of The Air Ambulance in ‘Only The Brave’ 10 mile, 35 obstacles mud run at Evelden Estate, Thetford, Norfolk.
Jim is partner of Zoe Briscoe who works for the Warehouse Antiques & Collectables.
East Anglian Air Ambulance exists to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air or car to seriously ill or injured people in the region. It is a life-saving charity that is only kept airborne thanks to incredible supporters.

A true character and always remembered for his guitar and Christmas hat, ‘Juggling Jim’ was a local legend and will be celebrated as such. King’s Lynn will be a poorer place without him.
Anthony was better known to locals as ‘Juggling Jim’ and sadly passed away on Monday 23rd January 2017. He was a much loved entertainer and has spent the majority of his life in King’s Lynn.
