Some may remember a beer called, Raging Bitch Birch Beer, that Flying Dog introduced on April 1st. Whereas that low-gravity series beer was a joke, this beer is anything but at 8% ABV (60 IBU).
Propaganda from the label: “Two inflammatory words-one wild drink. Nectar imprisoned in a bottle. Let it out. It is cruel to keep a wild animal locked up. Uncap it. Release it stand back! Wallow in its golden glow in a glass beneath a white foaming head. Remember, enjoying a RAGING BITCH, unleashed, untamed, unbridled – and in heat – is pure GONZO!! It has taken 20 years to get from there to here. Enjoy!”- Ralph Steadman

Deep amber colour, with an off-white head. Strong Belgian yeast smell greets you & this follows through in the taste. Also some hoppiness and fruit, with a bitter finish. Delicious Belgian style beer from a great US brewery.

Amber in appearance with a fast diminishing frothy head. This is very smooth with a strong belgian style to the taste with a with a floral aroma and a fruity and bitter taste. An absolute winner and a bargain for the quality and abv at this price.

Don’t let the name put you off – while this is a strong IPA it is almost buttery smooth.
A nice balance of fruit and hops makes it very drinkable, you really wouldn’t think it was 8.3%!

Really good beer, cross between a Belgium blonde and a double.

Belgiany take on an old school American IPA. A potent brew at DIPA strength.
