Founded in 2004, Stewart Brewing is Edinburgh’s local, independent brewery which is based on three basic principles: to produce beers of the highest quality possible, to provide exceptional service to their customers and to have fun doing it. Over the years, they have continued to innovate and develop whilst upholding the traditional ethos of Edinburgh’s rich brewing history.
Stewart Skeleton Blues is a hoppy American wheat beer. Liberally dry hopped with Simcoe, Amarillo and Vic Secret, it is juicy, soft and jam packed with fruit flavours.
One of our fantastic range of Halloween Beers.
Eric Akrill –
This one pours with quite a thick, cream-like head and a light golden colour to it. The nose has a citrusy hoppiness to it and first tasting is of a sweet yet also bitter combination of the hops and fruit. I detect some lemon and orange in there with a spicy element of nutmeg. The after taste is definitely more bitter than sweet, which is ok. At £2.39 for a 330ml can, this is a little on the expensive side, but as a one off, it’s probably worth it.
