Established in 1719, Belhaven is nestled amongst the rolling barley fields of the beautiful East Lothian coast, approximately 20 miles east of Edinburgh. As Scotland’s oldest working brewery, they use only the finest local barley and choicest hops.
Belhaven’s Scottish Oat stout is a dark, rich and layered stout. It has a delightfully silky texture and a lingering finish. It is brewed with a complex mash that includes roasted barley, oats and three varieties of malt, giving the beer its trademark depth and complexity and creating the black coffee and dark chocolate notes that make this an intense yet approachable stout.
