Brewed by 8 Sail Brewery who were established in 2010. The brewery nestles in the shadow of Heckington Windmill, Britain’s only eight sailed windmill, from which it takes it’s name.
Pilgrim Pale Ale is a pale, golden ale brewed by 8 Sail Brewery to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Pilgrim Fathers.

8 Sail Pilgrim Pale Ale is 500 ML and 4.2% ABV. Its a fairly typical pale ale an easy to drink ale with a nice taste. Nothing out of the ordinary but okay.

It’s a perfectly reasonable pale ale but please note that there is a lot of sediment in the bottom so pour carefully as I discovered!

Tried this last night for the first time and like all Pale Ales poured from the bottle I found it very lively – developing a rather large head in the glass so had to wait to sample it – not too bad considering I’m no great fan of Pale Ales which tend to be too acidic for me. Would probably not drink this again but I’m pretty sure Pal Ale lovers will
