Matthew Waterhouse –
Clear gold, small white head, minimal head.
Aroma of stewed veg, wet cardboard, herbs. Very poor.
Taste is even worse, corn, stewed vegetables, herby-medicinal. I’m wondering now whether this is skunked.
Light bodied but not watery, slightly syrupy, too low a carbonation for a lager.
Often when I have low expectations a beer will surprise me but not this one, it’s terrible. Only saving grace is that it is marginally better than Budweiser but its a close one.
Paul Boniface –
A reasonable pils, clean and crisp, easy to drink.
