Funk Estate is a small brewing company based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand that started up in 2012. They make a range of solid beers, as well as some bigger, bolder and wackier brews.
Afrogato is an imperial stout that has been inspired by Affogato, a classic Italian dessert with a shot of coffee and amaretto drizzled over vanilla ice cream. This big and boozy yet creamy stout is dosed with heaps of cold brew coffee, vanilla and almond, to imitate the amaretto. Decadent and delicious.
