Paderborner Pilsener is a traditional Westphalian Pilsener brewed in the heart of the German city of Paderborn. Paderborner beer has an original taste, owing to the particularly soft water quality of the city, and specially selected hops. A hearty beer with a floral, herbal hop character, Paderborner Pilsener pours a strong golden colour and offers up mildly bready flavours and a clean finish.
Paderborner beers have been brewed in the heart of Paderborn since 1852, and Paderborner Pilsener has stood the test of time, remaining a popular beer in Germany and export markets across the world today. Buy Paderborner Pilsener for a unique, full-bodied take on a German Pilsener.

Quite nice and crisp, would buy again but not top of the list.
Robert Harkin –
Hops provide a slight sweetness in this beer, with a slight herbal taste. This has a taste of its own
Steven Allen –
Very drinkable lager, nothing special, think Fosters but less watery, medium hops, low on malty notes. A beer to have in quantity!
Chris Boddy –
I tried Paderborner as a top-up to my order but next time I’ll be loading up on it! It’s really light and easy to drink – perfect for when you get home from a day at work.
David Heaps –
A bier that is easy on the taste buds, early evening bier

This beer takes me back to my army days of the early 80’s. A popular regular pils bought in numbers in that area (Paderborn) of Northern Germany. There is nothing special, but it delivers a good standard pils taste. Nice colour and a fresh feel. No need to buy this if you want some super-special taste or a high alcohol percentage (its a 4.8),. But you can buy in confidence it’ll be a trusty everyday pilsner you’d be happy to offer around at any social gathering or to enjoy a glassed half-litre with a meal.
Andy Nichols –
A subtle tasting pilsener in comparison to the classic taste. Very easy drinking. Little bursts of flavour. Nice very cold.
Richard Davison –
Another “tipple” the taste buds had long forgotten, it was a pleasure to get reacquainted, nice and easy, it’s not going to set the world on fire, but it’s an enjoyable pleasure.
Chris –
Light and easy to drink, didn’t get any bitter pils after taste from it myself. Sweet taste and creamy finish though.
Craig Cannell –
A light, crisp easy drinker. In the German Pilsner world this is an excellent session beer. Thoroughly enjoyable. A good starter Pilsner for those who haven’t spent time in BFG/ BAOR/ RAFG.

First time for this Pilsner.
Crisp, flavoursome with a slightly sweet hoppy taste.
Not exceptional but a really enjoyable and sessionable drink.
Pete Terry –
I bought this for a friend who is ex-Army, it was his beer of choice when he served in Germany – they were very well received and he advises me that it tastes as good as he remembers.
Robin White –
Just as good as I remember. Nice crisp pilsner from times gone by… Not going to set the world on fire but a really nice pleasurable drink and easy on the palette.
Dean Griffiths –
One of the cheaper offerings from BOE when it comes to German Pilsners.
Don’t be fooled though it’s very decent. Smooth, crisp and light in colour with low in carbonation. I usually grab a few of these when they are in stock.
Paul Boniface –
A very decent number, crisp, easy to drink whatever the occasion
Michael Channon –
As the previous reviewer said..cheaper than most but still well made nice and crisp with adequate flavour and a good start for a session.
Otto TheBierDude –
Golden and clear with a small head.Quite dry and reasonably refreshing.
Sometimes pils means bland but this one isn’t! .A new brewery for me 🙂
Andrew Thornton –
Excellent. Just as I remember it. Service was easy and relatively quick although an estimated delivery date after ordering would be useful. Will be using.again.

A wonderful full bodied beer, fantastic head, with a floral, herbal hoppy character, a glorious golden colour and a smooth mild bready flavour ending in a smooth clean finish.
Definately one I would have again, try it.

Very impressed with the service as I ordered very late to be in time for Xmas but received my order in perfect time thank you very much and a fantastic beer as well

My wife was impressed with this pilsner, very refreshing, and that typical lager peppery after taste, but with a hint of citrus, has to be cold, bet it,s a great summer garden beer, when we get a summer, should go well with a curry, will buy again.
Jamie K –
Decent enough pilsner. I bought it due to the price and was happily surprised. I ordered more. Smooth and crisp. Good for the warmer weather
Ryan Winson –
