No, we also have a shop based on the outskirts of King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

Travelling along the A10 between Downham Market and King’s Lynn, you will come to a small village called Setchey, turn next to J.S.W Car Sales on to Garage Lane and we are located approx. 100m down the lane on the right-hand side. Our address and opening hours can be found on the Contact Us page.

Yes, there are age restrictions in place. In the United Kingdom, the legal age to purchase alcohol is 18 years old. Beers of Europe strictly adheres to these regulations and by agreeing to our Terms and Conditions on checkout you confirm that you are over 18 years old. There’s a particular item I’m looking for, can you get it for me?

We are always happy to see if we can help you track down an item. Please feel free to contact us on our ‘request a product page

For some products supply can be inconsistent, whether that is at the brewery itself or how often we or its supplier imports it. For products that are out of stock, you can sign up to be notified of its return on the product page. From there, as soon as we book the stock in we send an email to you.

Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

We do not have a minimum purchase amount, but delivery charges may apply.

For orders between £25.01 and £60, delivery is charged at £5.99 (3 working days) or £7.99 (next working day).  Some areas are excluded and will incur extra charges. Please see postcodes listed in our Terms and Conditions.

For orders over £60, delivery is £3.99 (3 working days) or £5.99 (next working day). Again some areas are excluded and will incur extra charges. Please see postcodes listed in our Terms and Conditions.

For orders over £100, delivery is free (3 working days) or £3 (next working day). Some areas are excluded and will incur extra charges. Please see postcodes listed in our Terms and Conditions.

We use a variety of thick and sturdy cardboard boxes and dividers to hold each bottle individually. Any remaining spaces are filled with biodegradable air bags to stop movement of the contents. Glasses are wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard to ensure they arrived in once piece.

When placing your order please add the details at checkout.  We regret that if your order has been packed and is ready to despatch that amendments cannot be made.

All of our orders are shipped without any pricing or payment details, these are in the confirmation email. The only paperwork in the box contains a summary of the order and addresses.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

  1. Dean Griffiths

I had never tried any beers from the Oettinger brewery before, but due to the cheap price thought I’d get a bottle included in my next order.

I was then pleasantly surprised when I did try it. For the price this is a very decent Pilsner and have already included a couple more in my next order.

  2. Steve Hawkins

The essence is very sour. Strong, bold malt burst when sipped. Quite fizzy too. The finish quells quickly, with a touch of fizz and cream.

  3. Neil Gowen

Oettinger export is a proper session lager. Its a golden colour packed with refreshing bursts of flavour that can be enjoyed all year round. Ive ordered this twice now and will definitely be ordering again when back in stock. Its been out of stock twice since i discovered it so that should tell you something. Enjoy

  4. David Hanson

Drinkable but not particularly exciting. Light & a little fizzy, enough bitterness to refresh

  5. MARK BAINTON

dont let the carbonation put you of this beer. Refreshing light easy session summery ale go well at the BBq

  6. Vincent Hughes

I was very very surprised with this beer. A German friend put the company down when I mentioned Oettinger, but this ‘export’ pils I found to be packed with taste and superbly fresh around the taste buds. It just goes to show that no matter what the review, we all have different tastes. I will definitely purchase this one again. Very good value.

  7. Stujago

Although this Dortmunder has nothing remarkable about it, it is a lager done well. It has a nice fizz level, good bitterness and nice lager taste. Clean, fresh and crisp. An above average, average beer!! Great price too.

  8. Christine Saunders

a nice easy drinking smooth beer

  9. Kris

A clean and crisp drinking experience – went down well

  10. WJ

For what is evidently mass produced beer Oettinger’s offerings are excellent and do not give that impression at all. Malty and sweet with loads of body.

  11. Kul

Wonderful clean white head, lovely clear yellow colour and a sweet floral nose.
A little thin on the palate with a bitter finish, hence not my type of beer.

  12. Waldemar Heise

Decent Pils. Quite sweet, but highly drinkable.

  13. Gavin Harrison

If you think you know what a typical German beer is like, chances are your ideal is something like this. More body, more colour, more flavour and more complexity than your typical mass-produced “fizz”. Distinctly still a lager (specifically a Dortmunder=Helles), but more than that! Someone once said “The Germans are just like us but better!” and that sums this up perfectly. And all at a very good price!!!

  14. Neil

Lovely, rich and golden in colour with a light foamy creamy head.

For a 5.4% beer it’s an extremely smooth beer unlike beers of this abv. Nothing much going on taste wise, possibly I chilled the bottle
    a tad too much?

Pleasantly surprised and will order it again and try their Wheat beer and Pils.

    Try it!

  15. Jamie K

I ordered based on price, I wasn’t disappointed. Decent enough pils, smooth drinking and easy to get through a few even at that ABV

  16. Bob H.

A rather pleasant lager, very easy drinking and quite flavoursome. Pours with a nice creamy head and has a good effervescence. For the price, this beer is an absolute bargain.

  17. Ryan Winson

Enjoyable, a bargain for the price, would happily drink again

  18. Peter L

Really enjoyable beer and smoother than the Oettinger Pils. As per the previous review, an absolute bargain at this price.
