Other Information

Lucky Beer is a fusion of rice flakes, malted barley and Czech Saaz hops, Lucky Beer has a light aroma of hops with nuances of honey and malt; the precursor to a clean, silky, refreshing finish. Lucky Beer is an all-occasion drink; enjoy it super cold on a hot day or pair it with food, whether it’s dinner at a high-end restaurant or take-out from your favourite local. Lucky is a natural fit for Asian flavours but similarly suits lighter seafood dishes.

For some products supply can be inconsistent, whether that is at the brewery itself or how often we or its supplier imports it. For products that are out of stock, you can sign up to be notified of its return on the product page. From there, as soon as we book the stock in we send an email to you.

Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

We do not have a minimum purchase amount, but delivery charges may apply.

For orders between £25.01 and £60, delivery is charged at £5.99 (3 working days) or £7.99 (next working day).  Some areas are excluded and will incur extra charges. Please see postcodes listed in our Terms and Conditions.

When placing your order please add the details at checkout.  We regret that if your order has been packed and is ready to despatch that amendments cannot be made.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

Firstly this is worth a purchase just for the bottle alone. I really didn’t want to recycle this but the missus made me. My experience with Chinese beer has only been the mainstream Tsingtao. This I would say is a level above Tsingtao. It’s a rice beer which is more standard from Asian countries so the flavour is not your standard pilsner, but it drinks well.

  2. Andrew R.

A decent, if somewhat nondescript lager. This beer has a sweet edge with a dry, ever-so-slightly-skunky finish reminiscent of a certain Dutch flagship brew. The bottle design is pretty amazing, though.

  3. James Martin

Light crisp and refreshing to drink. Very easy to drink, perfect on a summers evening.

  4. Andy Nichols

Refreshing, very sweet tasting lager. Might be a bit much after a few. As a previous review said though, worth getting for the bottle alone!

  5. ELISE ARMITAGE

One of my favourite lagers. Refreshing to drink.

  6. James K

Nice lager to go with Asian food and a fantastic looking bottle.

  7. Chris Meechan

A fairly standard lager with a sweet malt bill and very little hopping. The bottle makes for a nice candle holder.

  8. Stuart

Quirky bottle, but a very standard beer. Would recommend purchasing purely for the bottle

  9. Paul Boniface

Very refreshing and easy to drink but for me not enough depth to it. The bottle though is top rate

  10. william hunter

A really nice beer to drink if you don’t like beers that leave a harsh taste afterward nice and refreshing if served chilled and a nice bottle as well My daughter is using the empty bottles with solar garden lights

  11. Mark Gorman

One of my wife’s favourites. Light and crisp, a good accompaniment to spicy food. Lacks a bit of body.

  12. Michael Wallis

A good light, clean, crisp lager in a great bootle shaped as a Buddha… nice touch

  13. PETER EVANS

Light and crisp, needs to be really chilled and consumed on a hot day. Great bottle for crafting.
