Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

  1. If you love Belgian, you must have tried this….

As a Belgian beer enthusiast, I had sampled Orval in Bruges once before. I quickly realised it is a quality beer, a must have if you appreciate the Belgian. Deep in flavour and smooth, if you have never tried, at least try once before you can say you can even proclaim to be a Belgian connoisseur.

  2. Donald Koole

First tried this whilst traveling through Belgium many years ago and I’ve stuck with it ever since. It’s an unpretentious example of a quality beer – very drinkable and highly enjoyable.

  3. SB

This has got to be one of the best beers of any category. Super tasty finish, very smooth and rich and a great balance. As another review says, this is a “must have” on the Belgian beer experience.

  4. Faiers

As far as I am concerned this is THE BEST Belgian beer. If you can use the ‘Orval’ glass it helps pouring and avoids too much head.

Please get it back in stock soon.

  5. Bill Yates

One of the best Belgian beers there is. Smooth and complex, it strikes a perfect balance between lightness on the palate and richness of flavour. Works well either with food or on its own.

  6. Pukka P

Magnificent, a rapier to the other Trappist broadswords.

  7. Mark Gorman

This won’t be to everyone’s taste. A complex flavour, the dominant tone, I can’t quite put my finger on. A smooth finish and worth trying.

  8. Paul C

A smooth flavoursome beer with, for me, a floral aftertaste.

  9. Kris

My favourite of the Belgian trappists

  10. Kevin Matthias

Young one (bottled Feb 21) so yet to attain maximum complexity but still a mighty mouth full. Hops more to the fore. Super.

  11. Jean Paul

Being Belgian and having been many times to the Orval monastery to taste and purchase this divine nectar I am extremely pleased that it is available to buy through Beers of Europe.
Their delivery system is second to none and the Orval price very competitive, go for it, you will not regret it!

  12. Michael Horsley

A typically flavourful Belgian beer, I’d drink this again

  13. Robbie Almond

This beer is really distinctive and has a unique character. Highly recommended if you’re into your Belgian beers or fancy something a little bit different.

  14. Chris Meechan

One of the all time classic Belgian ales. Dry, fruity, zesty and sweet.

  15. Bernard Hawcroft

One of the great beers of the world. Enough said.

  16. Luke Manley

A very distinctive and lovely beer.

  17. Steve Bruce

This is an odd one for me to review. It is spicy, floral, dry, bitter all at the same time. Very lively. The 3 star rating is my personal opinion coming from someone who prefers dark strong beer. I will age one in my collection and try it again to see how much it changes, its not a bad beer but not in my favourite list, not yet anyway.

  18. Xavier Crepin

A nice light beer, with a distinctive clover after taste
