Liefmans Cuvee Brut is a Belgian beer that is blended from 15-20 different batches of beer. Each and every bottle showcases a majestic harmony between the fresh edge and mildly acidic flavour of the cherries, which is matured for 18 months, resulting in a 6% complex brew with plenty of class.
Deep maroon in colour, this kriek-brut has a pale head with an aroma of wood and almond notes. Sweet and bitter flavours provide perfect balance on the palate with a strong cherry finish. Every hectolitre of beer contains up to 13 kilos of fresh fruit, which guarantees quality in the brewing and intensity in the taste.
Also available in 330ml
Neil Ward –
This is a nice sour cherry beer, not too sweet and with a good subtle flavour. I’d have preferred it a little more sour, but would definitely buy again!
