I wish I had known beforehand that this was a Brett style stout. Just tastes off to me, as I have never liked this style. Quite thin, soured and not for me. Left a horrible taste in my mouth afterwards. Mind you, a lot of people love this style nowadays.

Genuinely not what was expected.
This isn’t an Imperial Porter by any description I have ever had.
The body was thin, flavour complex but sour with an appearance of cloudy cold cofffee.
If you’re expecting full bodied smooth silky Porter with a complex flavour then DONT buy this.
If you’re a fan of sour style beers then buy it.
Couldn’t drink and gave the remainder to a friend who appreciates sours, enough said.

In my glass it is orange, brown, with a tiny head Aroma is bitter and funky vinous ripe cherry My palate finds sour citric unripe blackberries balsamic and woody dry end. The ABV is well hidden, but the alcohol legs in my glass evident, this is wonderful concept ale. The IBU rating is figure means it is not for the faint hearted.
