Broeder Jacob Double Espresso is the first ever Belgian beer brewed with coffee flavour. According to brothers johan Claes of Brewery Broeder Jacob and business man Wim Claes of coffee roasting factory Java, it is a ‘perfect marriage’. The coffee is made in the Turkish way before it is added in the brewing process.
Broeder Jacob Double Espresso has a rich aroma and full body with a touch of cacao. It is an award winning beer, having won a silver medal in the Brussels Beer Challenge (2012) in the ‘flavoured beers’ category.

In my glass brown ruby fluffy firm tan head In my nose coffee cocoa dark fruit On my tongue milky mocha cherries leading to a dry Port like finish. This is a well-made beer and I hope to find it on draught one day
