Brewed at Brasserie de Bastogne in Vaux-sur-sure, Bastogne Pale Ale is an unfiltered, unpasteurised, top fermented beer that re-ferments in the bottle. It is brewed with three varieties of aroma hops: Warrior, Hallertau Hersbrucker and Cascade. Dry hopping with Cascade and Hallertau hops towards the end of the brewing process adds bitterness to the beer, as well as surprising floral and herbal notes.
Bastogne Pale Ale is a fragrant beer with aromas of grass, honey, flowers and grains. Bitter hop flavours are balanced by mild, caramel malt flavours and are followed with a light and dry finish. It makes a delicious pairing with tandoori chicken or with light and refreshing desserts such as panna cotta.
