In 1881, a brewery known as the Esk brewery was established by C.S.Button on the banks of the Esk River in Launceston,Tasmania. This was bought by James Boag and son in 1883. Today, they are dedicated to carry on the tradition of excellence which they established. Using Tasmania's finest ingredients with an extended lagering process in order to create a beer with rich flavour and an especially smooth finish.
