Yellow Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey a product of Irish Distillers Limited is influenced by the first Yellow Spot which was last bottled in 1950’s and contains the famous Green Spot Pot Still Whiskey. What makes Yellow Spot so special is the fact that it has single pot still whiskey in it which has been aged in three different types of casks, including Spanish sherry butts, Spanish malaga casks and American bourbon cask. The aging process takes around 12 years and results in a sweeter flavour.
Yellow Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey has aromas of peaches, and apricots along with tones of sherried dried fruit and vanilla. The taste has a velvety texture with a good body and fruity flavours. Yellow spot finishes off with sweet tones of apricots and marzipan.
