Internationally renowned German brewers Paulaner Brewery are a world force when it comes to wheat beer.

The eighth biggest brewery in their homeland, the company began life in 1634 when an order of Paulaner monks started brewing beer. Now, hundreds of years later Paulaner is deemed one of the great beer producers in Munich, Germany.

German brewers are only allowed to use four ingridients – hops, malt, water and yeast – meaning Paulaner’s master brewers seek out the finest natural ingredients the region has to offer to give the beer its unique an distinct taste.

Paulaner’s Oktoberest is golden and slightly hoppy festive, full bodied and easy to drink brew. It is traditionally made for the famous German Oktoberfest – and Paulaner are one of just six breweries who produce the beer for the event which has been running each year since 1810.

Others include Paulaner Salvator –their original bottom-fermented beer, drank by the monks and brewed the same way since 18th century; the Paulaner Pils – a beer brewed in strict accordance with the traditional Pilsner method; and Paulaner Münchner Hell – a golden blond, elegant and full-bodied lager that is sparkling, light and hoppy.
