Cockburn’s Fine Ruby Port is blended with young wines, which are aged for three years in wood casks; which is then filtrated and bottled. The Ruby Port is full bodied and rich, with notes of raspberry, plum and is abundant in spices. The ripe red fruit flavours lend to the colour of the port too which is ready to drink once bottled due to its well balanced nature. The berries are apparent on the nose with the soft fruity flavours on the palate leading to a long, well balanced finish. Cockburn’s Fine Ruby Port is beautifully paired with blue cheeses, rich desserts (especially those with raspberry sauces - the desserts, not the cheese) or simply with dark chocolate.
