Brewdog have never been a company to make simple beers. So making a simple session IPA is out of the question. Taking inspiration from the West Coast of America, Brewdog use Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic hops to pack as much flavour as possible into a 3.8% IPA. Cara, Crystal and Extra Pale are the malts used to counter the intense hoppy taste and quickly became a core beer for the Scottish craft-beer giants.
This beer pours an almost orange gold, with a long lasting head, and quickly fills the senses. Lemongrass and lime zest implode in the aroma with surprisingly soft carbonation. Medium bodied with a bittersweet hoppy taste, rounded off with a long dry finish. This is a big bold beer with a moreish taste, a perfect session IPA.
