The hops are grown in New Zealand where the absence of pests means high quality hops can be grown organically.The pure water comes from the rolling Scottish Border hills.A bottom fermenting lager yeast has been specially selected and fermentation is carried out at 11°C for 14 days.The end result is a pale golden refreshing lager with all the delicate flavours and aromas expected in a premium lager.At 5.0% ABV a lager for those who know and care about what they eat and drink.

Broughton The Ghillie

Today the Ghillie, guides sportsmen in the art of fishing for salmon on the likes of the river Tweed which flows close by Broughton Ales in the Scottish Borders.
